Several years ago, Michel Buisson, the third-generation vigneron of Buisson-Charles, turned over the reins of this 6.3 hectare domaine to his daughter Catherine and son-in-law Patrick Essa. They, in turn, have now handed them to their son Louis, who vinified the 2019 vintage. Under Patrick's leadership, the house has reached new heights, producing wines that show beautiful balance; they are concentrated and rich, yet pure and expressive, featuring both the crystalline purity and opulence of Meursault. Vines are tended organically and the wines see no chaptalization or acidification or SO2 added during vinification. They are bottled without fining or filtration. Louis has followed in his father's footsteps, espousing the estate's philosophy that many Meursault are harvested too early and, as a result, are too lean, highly sulfured, and one-dimensional. Not only the picking dates, but also other growing milestones, such as pruning, are later than most of their peers, with the goal of extending the overall vegetative cycle. Following these methods, Bouisson-Charles' finished wines are richer in style than most, while also possessing incredible acidity and tension.
Buisson-Charles has holdings among the top vineyards in the Côte de Beaune, including parcels of Meursault vines more than a century old. Both Patrick and Louis believe the terroir, not the winemaking, should determine the taste of the wine, and these creations reflect the essence of their appellations. Argiano is part of the history of the Montalcino region and it’s one of the most prestigious and historical reality in the area. The name is thought to derive from the first settlements in Roman times – ‘Ara Janus’, referring to the god Janus. Another potential origin could be ‘the land of the River Orcia’ – known in ancient times as ‘Orgia’ and therefore Argiano. The history of Argiano has a turning point in the 16th century with the decline of the Tolomei family in favor of the noble Pecci family from Sienna and with the construction of their magnificent villa between 1580 and 1596, perfect exempla of a 16th century noble residence. Argiano practices an organic and sustainable method of agriculture. It believes in the balance of biodiversity and strives to attain it, through techniques aiming to soil fertility, implementing with natural products like weeds, chestnut tannins, propolis and zeolite. Even natural insecticides are banned; instead, techniques like sexual confusion and the release of adversarial insects are employed. The “bee” project which consists in placing hives next to the vineyards is joins the ones related to the usage of Mycorrhizae and the Microzonation study. The latter in particular, comprising the discovery of different microzones within single vineyard plots, enables to target and focus our approaches.

Marchetti Sergio, owner of the estate of Fossacolle, belongs to an old patriarchal family of the 18th century. This family’s descendants have ever been living and farming on the land of a large and noble lineage.
At the beginning of the 1980s, the owner of this land sold the territories where the Marchettis worked and decided to donate them the “Podere Fossacolle”. In 1984, the first Sangiovese-vineyards were planted, marking the start of the viniculture activity. Some years later, the vineyards were registered as Brunello di Montalcino, allowing the winery to develop the enological aspects with investiments related to the realization of the cellar for the vinification and aging in wood barrels. On January 1st, 2002, the winery issued their first Brunello di Montalcino, vintage 1997.

The estate was created in 1909 and now covers 18 hectares (nearly 45 acres) planted with the grape gamay black with white juice, mainly in the Morgon appellation with several plots within the Beaujolais appellation. At the domain we believe excellence depends on four essential elements: people, soil, climate and grape variety. They are widely regarded as the benchmark producer for Beaujolais. Despite being natural wines are not funky, weird or chunky, as some are.
Pietradolce Santo Spirito Etna Rosso

Santo Spirito Etna Rosso is a wine obtained from Nerello Mascalese grapes from a pre-phylloxera vineyard that was brought to light and restored during land reclamation work. This vineyard is located in the highest part of the Contrada Santo Spirito at 900 meters above sea level. It is a very windy promontory with marked temperature variations and sandy soils, with abundant volcanic rock.
The harvest takes place in the second half of October. The crushing and destemming is followed by a maceration of approximately 18 days in raw cement tulip tanks. The 14-month aging in oak barrels is followed by maturation in the bottle. The result is a wine with an ample bouquet, which alternates spicy notes with red berries. The taste is vibrant, with distinctive elegance and personality, like drinking a bottle of great Burgundy.
