Decadent Drams Craigellachie 20 Year
$529.99
Bottled at 58.3%, this 2005 vintage Craigellachie, was initially matured 16 years in a Refill Hogshead before finishing 4 years in a First Fill Sherry Hogshead. 20 Years. - 87.22pts Whiskybase & 89pts Whisky Fun
Producer Description
"Big cask Craigellachie that doesn’t care if you’ve had your dinner. A 2005 refill bruiser with four years of first-fill sherry bolted on at the end, bottled at 58.3% and soaked in pipe smoke, walnut oil, BBQ soot, and treacle you’d need a bandsaw to cut. It’s waxy, meaty, sulphur-kissed and unapologetically heavy. Think coal shed, old study, steak tartare and scorched fruit cake. Not elegant. Not clean. Just massive and magnificent."
Decadent Drams Tobermory 17 Year
$354.99
This 17 year old Tobermory from the Isle of Mull was matured in a Refill Hogshead, originally filled in 2008, and bottled at 54.9%.
Producer Description
"Refill wood, west coast air, 17 years of silence. This 2008 Tobermory has done everything the slow way, bottled at 54.9%, with salted lemon, sea herbs, wax polish and just enough funk to keep things interesting. Understated until it isn’t. The kind of malt that unpacks itself sideways: you get fruit, then oil, then brine, then smoke, then regret that you didn’t buy two. If you’ve ever eaten driftwood and called it terroir, this one’s for you."
Decadent Drams Glencadam 13 Year
$229.99
This 13 year old Glencadam is a 2012 vintage bottled at 53% after maturing in a Refill ex-Bourbon Barrel. 87.25pts Whiskybase
Producer Description
"From a single refill barrel distilled in 2012, this 13-year-old Glencadam has been bottled with a touch of reduction at 53%. The result is a dram that lets the distillery’s character shine in full voice: bright, juicy fruit wrapped around that wonderfully malty, old-school undercarriage Glencadam does so well. A whisky that’s equal parts charm and backbone, offering pure distillery character with just the right amount of polish."
