This Mortlach comes from a single cask care of Hunter Laing's Old Malt Cask whisky range. The Mortlach single malt was originally distilled in July 2010. It was then matured for 14 years in a Canasta Sherry Butt at 50%.

Auchroisk: The easily pronounceable distillery name that is on everybody's lips! No? Anyhow, this bottling comes to us from Hunter Laing's Old Malt Cask line. This single cask Awthrusk - I mean Auchroisk - was distilled in February 2007 and matured in a refill Hogshead (ref. HL21158). The resulting 16 year old Single Malt Scotch has been bottled at 50%.
According to the label, this Auchroisk was bottled "TO COMMEMORATE THE LAUNCH OF THE ARDNAHOE SINGLE MALT". Huzzah!
