This 6 year old Kavalan was filled into an Oloroso sherry cask, #S1705181510, in the Spring of 2017, and was bottled in July of 2023 at 52.4%. This Rest & Be Thankful Port Charlotte single cask is listed as a EU Exclusive on the indie bottler’s own website. I wonder how we managed to get some? Hmm… This 2009 Port Charlotte was matured in an ex-Bourbon Hogshead #1263 for 14 years. It was bottled in July 2023 at a cask strength of 57.4%.
