Nach, named after the Czech word for Purple, is Milan's attempt to show that the winemaking region where he’s located can produce high quality reds. In the past locals in Morovia have said that the area doesn’t receive enough sun to produce anything of quality (Referencing medium to full bodied reds from warmer regions). Milan has flipped this idea on its head by focusing on what the region does well instead of focusing on what it can’t do, this wine is the end result. The idea behind the bottle was an ode to Milan’s childhood where he remembers buying juice in the same containers under a crown cap.

"These are wines from musts of the palomino variety, obtained by gentle pressure and subjected to complete fermentation. The subsequent header at 15% vol. promotes biological aging, which must be carried out entirely in wineries located in Sanlúcar de Barrameda. The special microclimatic conditions of our winery located at the mouth of the Guadalquivir River, encourage the development of a flower veil with very peculiar organoleptic characteristics. This biological aging lasts for a period of three to four years and is carried out in American oak barrels through the traditional system of criaderas and solera. "Pajizo pale. Clean and intense nose with attractive notes of fresh grass, fruit and depth. The palate is fresh, with mild bitterness, very good acidity, with a simple but pleasant passage through the mouth."

In their own words: It's been 30 years since Gerhard and Brigitte Pittnauer took over the winery. With only 3.8 hectares of vineyards, which Gerhard had inherited from his parents, we took the proverbial leap into the deep end. In 1998 we joined Pannobile - a well-known group of winegrowers from the region. Through the family dynamic and the lively exchange of opinions within Pannobile, we grew and increased the complexity of our wines. The construction of the striking and individually designed production hall in the middle of the vineyards in 2001 enabled a "quantum leap" in terms of quality and quantity. In 2006 we began converting to biodynamic viticulture - this is also when our winemaking shifted to an even more minimalist approach. In 2007, together with other winemakers, we founded 'Respect' - an international group of leading biodynamic wineries. Today our winery is one of the best natural wine producers in Austria. In 2014 and 2016, we received the two highest awards in the Austrian wine world from the renowned wine magazines Falstaff and Gault Millau: The Winegrower of the Year.
Duplessis Chablis 1er Vaillons

The 2017 Chablis Vaillon 1er Cru, has a tightly wound bouquet with Granny Smith apple, oyster shell and just a touch of dried apricot lending a mote of exoticism. The palate is very well balanced with quite a racy opeing, a linear and poised Vaillons full of tension with just a tang of lemongrass brightening up the finish. Very classy, though unlike the aromatics, the final half is quite understated for a Vaillons.
An assemblage of four plots exposed to the southeast on a clay-sandy soil. This seducer is kept from three to ten years. Its "exotic" nose and its wide and fruity mouth will take you by the feelings.
A family domaine for five generations now, Lilian is the latest vigneron of an estate created in 1895, taking over for his father Gerard in 1999. After going to school and internships in the region (“There was no point in making Sauvignon blanc in New Zealand, I needed to know how to work Chardonnay in Burgundy” he says), Lilian has turned the domaine into one of the very few organic estates in Chablis.

The brainchild of American wine distributor Marquis Sauvage, Burn Cottage was born with the purchase of a property in the Pisa region of Central Otago in 2002. Sauvage enlisted the help of Ted Lemon in establishing the biodynamically farmed vineyard and in making the wines, although the day-to-day winemaking is handled by Claire Mulholland, whose previous résumé includes stints at Martinborough Vineyards and Amisfield. The site includes ten different Pinot clones planted on five different rootstocks on a terraced northeast-facing slope. The Moonlight Race Pinot Noir is made from purchased fruit, but the other wines are all estate bottlings.
Tasting Notes: Wonderfully complex aromas of fern leaf, rhubarb, potpourri and rose petal contrast with more mineral notes of dust, graphite and gravel. The palate possesses a lovely sweet attack without ever becoming cloying and melts into supple, fine tannins which need a few years to completely marry to the wine. Nevertheless, the overall impression is silky and sensual. Excellent acidity lends great vibrancy to the palate and the wine ends on a long, lingering finish. The rich, silky completeness shows the great potential of this property. Cellaring for up to 8-10 years. - Ted Lemon

There’s not much information to be found on this particular bottling, but it’s possible it’s Imported spirit, bottled for the Alberta market specifically.
