From the coast of Brittany comes Glann Ar Mor, a world class Single Malt in its own right. This is clean young whisky, produced in the traditional Scottish style. And not only the Scottish style, but the archaic and classic methods we so adore: wooden washbacks, small direct-fired stills and worm tub condensers. Whisky geeks, cheer loud and long! The spirit was then put into ex-bourbon barrels and left to mature in a place where the seaside imparts its own character on the whisky. Expect gorgeous grain notes and soft fruits.

A mixture of soft tinned fruits, especially sweet pears in syrup, sweet vanilla ice cream, and a delicate but assertive earthy underbed make this an utter delight. Magnifique. 92 points

A small handful of casks were selected from Cotswolds founder Daniel Szor's personal favorites. 'Uniquely active casks' were intentially targeted, to ensure a rich and expressive single malt. These were STR (shaved, toasted, recharred) American red wine casks which, as we can all agree, is the only way to use wine casks for maturing whisky.
