Sourced from a single vineyard on the Concongella estate planted in 1992, the White Gravels Hill Shiraz produces delightfully spicy and aromatic wines. White quartz gravel lay over the granite bedrock and the site can be particularly hard to farm, especially in dry years due to its free-draining nature. Small parcels of fruit from this vineyard are carefully selected to use in the final blend. This wine was produced using traditional methods including hand picking, whole bunch open fermentation and basket pressing.

A complex nose with bright red cherry and hints of earth and white pepper. On the palate, there are warm dark cherry notes and a light meatiness in the mid palate with long soft round tannins with a savoury finish.
