All her grapes are grown in a single plot of 2.5 hectares, which is also the total size of the domain that Dominique Moreau founded in 2000. Because all her wines come from a single vineyard, she has decided to emphasize the differences in champagnes through vinification. There are wines matured in barrique, amphorae, enamel tanks and one without sulfur. All come from the 2.5 hectares of single vineyard on the Kimmeridge marl soil of the Soden, on the Côte des Bar. Winemaker Dominique Moreau, who named the estate after her grandmother, is a master of purism. Her champagnes are delicate and elegant, yet with underlying power and a high degree of drinking pleasure.
Présence Sans Soufre is a blend of Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay that deftly balances richness with energy. Orchard fruit, mint, citrus and floral notes are wonderfully pure and delineated throughout. St Antony Brudersberg Riesling GG

St. Antony is a top-shelf riesling producer making high-quality wine since 1912. The ultra-modern winery they built sits on top of cellars that hold decades of premium riesling, a white grape that ages as well, if not better, than any first-growth Bordeaux or Burgundy (and for a lot less). These are dry wines, brimming with minerality and acidity, and three of the four we received are GG (Grosses Gewächs), the grand cru designation for dry German riesling. They are situated in the town of Nierstein, a charming village that is effectively the epicentre of wine in the Rheinhessen. Praised by critics and adored by riesling lovers, these are beautiful, mineral-driven wines that are delicious now and even better over time.
The Brudersberg monopoly site faces south throughout. The extreme steepness and the direct influence of the Rhine make the Brudersberg very special. Their vineyards are situated in the sub-regions of Seppeltsfield, Marananga and Moppa located along the Barossa Valley’s western edge and are some of the oldest vines in the world. Thin, sandy loam topsoils lie sparsely scattered over ancient deposits of bluestone, marble stone, limestone, quartz and ironstone. Rainfall is limited, often to less than 400 millimetres a year falling through winter and early spring. Subsurface clay retains valuable moisture, sustaining the vines through the long, warm and dry summers and autumns. The name of this Primitivo Salento IGP, 7° Ceppo refers to the seventh generation of winemakers of the Taurino family. The grapes for this Primitivo wine come from 70+ year old vines in the Mandura Region. Primitivo itself originated in Croatia and migrated to Italy in the late 1800s. Within Italy, it is grown primarily in Puglia.
Primitivo is possibly more well known under another name - Zinfandel - and was made popular under that moniker in California. It was not known that Primitivo and Zinfandel were the same grape until DNA profiling was done by the UC Davis in 1994.

Alberto Siegel and his father founded Viña Siegel (now Siegel Family Wines) in 1980. They started planting vineyards in Colchagua and building the winery in Santa Cruz. When Don Germán died in 1998, Alberto became the owner, together with his family. Initially, Viña Siegel only sold bulk wines to the biggest Chilean wineries, like Concha y Toro, San Pedro and Santa Rita.
