Part of the Milk & Honey Distillery's Elements Range, this single malt was matured in ex-Bourbon before finishing in ex-Red Wine Casks (STR Casks).

Producer Description: "Ex-red wine casks that were sourced from Israel's finest wineries were picked for this part of the Elements trilogy. The Mediterranean’s climate, variety of soil types, hot sunny days and cool nights bring a spicy and unique flavor to Israeli wine – and in turn, our casks. The wine casks used in the Elements Red Wine are a celebration of local terroir, curating a floral single malt with notes of raisins."

"9 Years Old for this single malt Scotch Whisky aged and bottled in Scotland. A classic side of Caol Ila (Peat but not too peaty, savoury green vegetables, and seaweed). B amplified by the Ratafia Champenois touch… Beautifully smooth and hard to understand complexity. Taste bomb that begins and ends with peat in a dancing way. Oily and uplifting, with a texture that reaches all parts of the palate without being overpowering, giving it a perceived lightness. Phenolic citrus fruits and a long smoky finish on the palate amplified by the Ratafia Champenois touch… “The Dumangin Champagne Twist”…. A bouquet of ripe fruit, a hint of vanilla.."

SMOS Tormore 14 Year KWM Cask

This 14 year old Tormore was offered to us by our friends at Elixir Distillers, who purchased the distillery in 2022. While there aren't currently any official distillery bottlings, this cask was part of the distillery purchase, and is technically a Tormore Distillery cask, bottled by the distillery owner. Bottled under the Single Malts of Scotland label, the whisky was filled into a fresh ex-Bourbon Barrel in 2010, and bottled in late 2024 at 55.7%. Only 216 total bottles!
