Islay Mist Scotch 8 Year Old Scotch Whis
$41.99
Created for distribution in Canada, Japan, and the USA, the Islay Mist 8 Year Old is bottled at 40%.
Producer Description
"The iconic Islay Mist dates back to 1927 on the Island of Islay and owes its existence to a celebration which would mark the 21st birthday of the son (John Morrison, later Lord Margadale) of the Laird of Islay House. To mark such an important occasion, guests were to be invited from the length and breadth of the UK and it was considered that the signature smoky Islay whiskies might be too heavy for everyone’s taste. Decadent Drams Blended Scotch 12 Year
$219.99
Acurious creation from Angus and the team at Decadent Drinks, the blend might be 12 years of age, but there are components which go back to the early 1970s. 53% 87.58pts Whiskybase
Producer Description
"We don’t usually dabble in blends. Angus will happily remind anyone that he’s an “out and proud malt snob” nine days out of ten. But every now and then, fate drops something into your lap that’s too good to ignore. In this case, it was a tiny parcel of very old, very low-strength North of Scotland grain whisky from 1973. The kind of spirit that practically begs to be given a stage rather than left gathering dust. We married it with sherry-matured blended malt, then folded in a few venerable Speyside malts (peated and unpeated) before giving the whole lot over a year’s rest in a refill sherry hogshead. The result was bottled at a judicious 53%, a few degrees down for balance and drinkability. For the label, there was only one choice: Charlie MacLean. The original champion of blended Scotch, whisky legend, friend, and inspiration. If anyone deserves to front our first foray into blends, it’s him. This isn’t just a blend, it’s a love letter to the category from a bunch of supposed malt snobs. And if you’re going to break your own rules, you might as well do it properly."
Living Souls Ninety-Nine & One Blended
$107.99
This curious Blended Scotch whisky was supposedly a bottling hall accident where a tiny amount of grain was added to 18 year old Ledaig. Matured in Bourbon & Sherry casks, bottled at 46.3%, which is a nod to Tobermory! 89pts Whisky Fun - Limit 2 Per Customer!
Sweet Wee Scallywag Blended Malt
$99.99
Check out this label - a handsome fox terrier sporting a monocle! From Douglas Laing, Scallywag is blend of Speyside whiskies, including Macallan, Glenrothes and Mortlach. There's some bourbon cask whisky in the blend, but most come from Spanish sherry butts, which give Scallywag a pleasant sweetness.
Producer Description
"Douglas Laing's Scallywag is a Small Batch bottling created using only the finest Speyside Malts including - amongst others - Mortlach, Macallan and Glenrothes. Bottled at 46% alcohol strength and non-chill-filtered, this Small Batch bottling has a distinct rich, dark colour - extracted from the many fine Spanish Sherry Butts used during maturation. In fact, we use 40% first-fill Sherry butts in the mix, and the result is a truly charming Malt with a richly spiced character, fused with vanilla (from the bourbon casks used), sweet stewed fruit, Christmas pudding, dark chocolate, zesty orange and sweet tobacco. "
Johnnie Walker Green Label 15 Year
$102.99
A vatted (blended) malt from Johnnie Walker. Jim Murray awarded this 15-year-old Green Label a very impressive 95 points in his 2010 Whisky Bible! Gorgeous notes of dark chocolate, coffee and oak — and a great price — make it a standout. The cornerstone malt in the Green Label are provided by Caol Ila, Talisker, Cragganmore and Linkwood distilleries respectively. Bottled at 43% ABV.
From The Producer
"Johnnie Walker Green Label is crafted from a palette of Speyside, Highland, Lowland and Island malts matured for at least 15 years – all perfectly balanced to bring together the intense aromas of crisp cut grass, fresh fruit, wood smoke, deep vanilla, and sandalwood."
Rock Island Blended Malt
$76.99
An Islands Blended Malt from the folks at Hunter Laing, which is replacing the Rock Oyster. Bottled at 46.8%, Rock Island is composed of whiskies from Arran, Jura, Orkney and Islay!

The Epicurean Lowland Blended Malt
$72.99
A Lowland Blended Malt Scotch Whisky, bottled at 46.2%. Presumably a marriage of Auchentoshan and Glenkinchie.
First introduced in 2016, The Epicurean is a Blended Malt Scotch Whisky that focuses on the Lowlands both style-wise and for the component malts used. The Epicurean is a reference to the character on the bottle itself, which looks like some sort of amalgamated caricature of Rich Uncle Pennybags from the Monopoly board game, Leonardo DiCaprio's character from The Great Gatsby, and Fred Laing Jr and his carefully managed mustache itself.
Producer Description
"Meet The Epicurean – our 1930s Glasgow man, a real cheeky character who was ever the life and soul of the party and a connoisseur of fine food and drink. A master of versatility, this fresh, zesty, grassy marriage of the finest Lowland malts is perfect for cocktail hour or simply for sipping. Encompassing the great cities of Edinburgh, Glasgow and the historic Kingdom of Fife, Malts from the Lowland region are celebrated for their sweet, grassy notes and gentle style. The Epicurean is a remarkable encapsulation of that archetypal Lowland style in one charming bottle."
The Gauldrons Blended Malt
$88.99
The Gauldrons is a Campbeltown Blended Malt Whisky, bottled at 46.2%.
About the Gauldrons
"As you step onto The Gauldrons’ fine, clean sand, you also step back in time. Over yonder is where a spider building his web - with great patience but great difficulty - inspired King Robert the Bruce to try, try and try again, having been defeated by his enemies. All around you can sense the ghosts of the long lost Distilleries that once proudly proclaimed Campbeltown “Scotland’s Whisky capital”. The Gauldrons takes you down the long and winding road, over moorland and through now abandoned villages, to one of the most isolated Whisky outposts in the world. All but surrounded by the ocean, the air here is heavy with sea mist and infused with the whim blossom that brightens the landscape."
Big Peat 12 Year
$114.99
Producer Note: "Big Peat is a marriage of Single Malt Scotch Whiskies only from the island of Islay. With Caol Ila spirit bringing sweetness, Bowmore the perfect balance, Ardbeg a medicinal, earthy quality and Port Ellen, a degree of elegance, Big Peat represents all that is Islay in a bottle. Part of the Remarkable Regional Malts range, the ultimate distillation of Scotland’s Malt Whisky Regions."
Big Peat is an Islay icon at this point, but it's the variants in the range, such as this 12-year-old, that are keeping it in the spotlight. And if they're still declaring 'Port Ellen' on the label, you know that the 12 year age statement is more than three times younger than the oldest whisky in this bottling.
Natural colour, non-chill filtered, and bottled at 46% abv.
