The result is an extremely easy and luscious summer dram that showcases an abundance of Balblair’s natural green fruitiness and lusciousness, along with a nicely rich and creamy vibe from the 1st fill barrels. A gorgeous dram that balances simplicity, directness, freshness and maturity – perfect for summer as an easy sipper or in a highball with ice and soda! This year’s series features a set of wonderful original artworks by Skye-based artist Ellis O’Connor. For the Summer edition her inspiration was taken from some of the colours associated with long and luminous Scottish summer nights."

"Peat and sherry is a great combo, though sometimes it can be a bit of a battle between two proud titans of flavour. Thankfully, this one shows off a welcome harmony that brings out the best of both. It's a marvellous variation of Seaweed & Aeons & Digging & Fire, featuring the same smoky 10 year old Islay single malt, though instead of just 25% of it being finished in sherry casks, the entirety of the whisky was finished in them. The powerfully peaty notes at its core are mellowed by just enough sherry sweetness, making for a superbly well-balanced flavour profile."

This single cask Jamaican rum is bottled by Rest & Be Thankful rum company. Distilled at Long Pond, and bears the CRV marque, which is actually not produced anymore. It's a low ester column still rum. Aside from the appreciable age, this finished it's maturation in an ex-Port Charlotte cask.
