Cloudsley Cellars is dedicated to creating Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Niagara, Ontario. The cool climate and limestone soils found in this region create an environment ideally suited to making a classic, elegant wine that brings out the best in these noble varietals. It’s a deeply personal project, unmotivated by consumer trends yet informed by over 20 years spent tasting world-class wines. It's inspired by a love of Burgundy, but squarely focused on this stretch of land that intrigues and beguiles wine lovers. Formed by passing glaciers, the soils of the Twenty Mile Bench tend to be made up of deep clay and till, with a large amount of limestone and shale. These soils tend to be moderately well-drained, with the rolling topography and the varying slopes of the escarpment aiding this. The varying elevation and slope, along with the circulating lake breeze, moderate temperatures, ensure gradual warming in spring and cooling in fall.

We blitzed an entire grove’s worth of oranges - from zest to pith - to make this sun-kissed adult OJ. This spring seasonal is here for a good time as well as a long time, so imagine the golden days lounging on the patio with this juicy, crisp, dry, and refreshing summer banger. Don’t it feel good?

Irrational X @BrewsmithBrewing Collab
It’s no secret that our friends down at @BrewsmithBrewing are absolute wizards at producing low ABV, ultra sessionable, full-flavoured beers. We put our minds together and decided to brew something innovative yet classic. Light lager is where we landed because it is something, until now, we have yet to brew at Irrational. To put a fun twist on the beer we also wanted to try out a new-to-us hop product @YakimaChief Simcoe Noble. Analytically, Yakima Chief’s Noble Hops appear similar in character to traditional noble hops, including high aromatics and low alpha acids, while retaining Simcoe characteristics that make them unique. We went with 100% Alberta floor-malted Pilsner & Chit Malt from the barley-buffs over at @HogarthMalt and fermented low and slow with W-34/70. Expect an uber light, delicate, full-spectrum beer.
Brasserie Sir John Mets-Y Delazoune
$9.99
From the Producer;
"Collaboration with Toltèk Brasseur Artisan , Le Ketch
Okay, by now, I think it's common knowledge; Sir John loves bowling. After several evenings spent playing, we just had to brew a bowling-themed beer. That's how Mets-y de la Zoune came about. And, for those unfamiliar with Lachute bowling lingo, "la Zoune" is when you throw your ball and it curves, practically defying all of Newton's laws, and almost always going for a strike. A beautiful shot for those with the skill!

Bellwoods Franconian

"Franconian Lager' is kind of a broad term. It covers a wide range of beers that are brewed in the German region of Franconia.
Our Senior Brewer Rick was in Europe for a short trip last year and bought a bottle of lager in a bottle shop from Knoblach Brewery. It was crisp, refreshing and bitter, yet soft and drinkable with a pronounced malt character. He found it an inspiring beverage. Our 'Franconian Lager' is a product of that memory."
