Nose: Sweet & Savory. An unexpected and inviting combination of peanuts, bright cherry, subtle aged leather, and a clean note of pencil shavings.
Palate: Rich & Familiar. The peanuts lead the way, quickly followed by a rush of cherry and supportive notes of rich oak and vanilla spice. Brown sugar and pastry.
Finish: Long & Comforting. More pronounced peanuts and oak, transitioning to complex notes of coffee and ending with a signature, warm "Canadian Whisky Hug.

"As we didn’t purchase this barrel direct from the distillery, we’re not using their name on the label. But there’s only one well known distillery in Saanich on Vancouver Island that’s known for making whisky. To further make things interesting, this cask is supposedly peated, yet we haven’t been able to detect any ourselves. Maybe you will?"
