Macallan A Night On Earth: Jerez
$265.99
The 2024 Macallan A Night on Earth release is In Jerez. Jerez is the city at the heart of the sherry industry... or at least the sherry seasoning industry! Bottled at 43%, this NAS Macallan was matured in Sherry Seasoned Oak Casks.
Producer Description
"A Night on Earth in Jerez is inspired by New Year’s Eve in the home of Sherry wine, Jerez de la Frontera. Here, the celebration goes by a different name – Nochevieja, the “Old Night” – and is full of meaning and tradition. This limited-edition release is matured in exceptional sherry seasoned oak casks, and evokes the nostalgic flavours of home to make it the perfect gift for someone you love.
"The Macallan has collaborated with Jerez-born artist, María Melero, to create the designs that can be enjoyed during the unique unboxing experience of A Night on Earth. María has used her fondest memories of New Year in her home city. Starting with a crimson sky over vineyards of sherry grape vines; progressing into María’s city home, represented by the azulejos (traditional Jerez wall tiles); and finally reaching gold-toned grapes to represent the sherry wine that will one day season the Macallan casks."

Owned by the Mitchell family since 1997, Montalto is where seasonal, heirloom produce is grown, shared and celebrated. Montalto’s home estate of 30 acres under vine is the heartland for our premium wines, and the expansive kitchen gardens and orchards supply our kitchens in The Restaurant and The Piazza. Their award-winning winemaking team, led by Simon Black, create wines of exemplary quality and character, utilising winemaking techniques that complement the unique qualities derived from only the very best parcels of fruit taken from our five vineyards, in a style that reflects each vineyard site.
Fossacolle Brunello
$87.99
Marchetti Sergio, owner of the estate of Fossacolle, belongs to an old patriarchal family of the 18th century. This family’s descendants have ever been living and farming on the land of a large and noble lineage.
At the beginning of the 1980s, the owner of this land sold the territories where the Marchettis worked and decided to donate them the “Podere Fossacolle”. In 1984, the first Sangiovese-vineyards were planted, marking the start of the viniculture activity. Some years later, the vineyards were registered as Brunello di Montalcino, allowing the winery to develop the enological aspects with investiments related to the realization of the cellar for the vinification and aging in wood barrels. On January 1st, 2002, the winery issued their first Brunello di Montalcino, vintage 1997.
Knab Spatburgunder
$33.99
Anyone wondering what is meant by "Baden classic" should try the wines of the Rinker family. Or even list them, because there are hardly any better addresses for (upmarket) gastronomy. The traditional appearance with rather weighty, naturally corked bottles inspires confidence even in skeptics. During the tasting, we were impressed by every single wine. All of them are completely dry, wonderfully balanced between freshness and substance, the different possible uses are determined solely by the grape variety and the type of wood used.
