One of the most iconic Porters from the Pacific Northwest, in can form! Black Butte Porter is made by Deschutes Brewing of Bend, Oregon. It is canned at 5.5% ABV and is a rich but approachable porter yet balanced with plenty of chocolate coffee notes and a creamy texture on the palate.

This Baltic Porter pours black with shades of brown. Thick and creamy tan head with moderate retention. Aroma is black cherry, wood, coffee, ash and plums. Taste is less coffee-heavy than aroma suggests, but a bit more chocolatey and smokey. Baltic Porters are typically strong, sweet and bottom-fermented. They lack the powerful roast of an imperial stout, but have an intense malt character.
