By aging Cincoro Blanco in these barrels, we highlight the smoothness of our Blanco, complimented by wood notes from aging 24-28 months in an underground cellar, considerably longer than the minimum 1 year required for Anejo. Subtle notes of toasted oak and maple on the nose, followed by sweet cooked agave, light butterscotch and baking spices on the palate. Remarkably long, elegant finish with lingering notes of dark chocolate."

From one of the most respected Pinot producers in the Okanagan Valley! The gentle, minimal intervention style at Meyer filters all the way down to the introductory Pinot simply labelled ‘Meyer’. It bears an Okanagan Valley designation and blends fruit from the home property Mclean Creek Road Vineyard in Okanagan Falls, Reimer Vineyard in South East Kelowna and two East Kelowna sites. This delightful Pinot Noir was aged in older oak barrels which softened the wine without adding much oak flavour. It has aromas and flavours of cherry and strawberry. The juicy texture adds to the wine’s immediate appeal. (This is the 2015, but Decanter gave the 2012 an impressive 91 points. You get the picture: The Meyer family knows what they're doing!)

About Powers Whiskey
Powers Distillery was founded new Dublin's Wester Gate in 1791 on John's Lane. In 1841 Sir John Power was made a Baron. In 1871 the distillery went through an enormous expansion. In 1886 the distillery became the first in Dublin to bottle its whiskey. In 1975 the distillery, owned by Irish Distillers, is closed down with production shifting to the New Middleton Distillery in Cork, along with all other Irish whiskey brands save Bushmills.

This is a single malt from the Miyagikyo distillery, Nikka's second distillery built in 1969. The founder Masataka Taketsuru chose this site in the mountains of Sendai to contrast with his first distillery, Yoichi, located in the coastal area. Using less peaty malt and distilled in a pot still heated by indirect steam, Miyagikyo single malt has an elegant fruitiness and a distinctive aroma with a strong Sherry cask influence."
