The Maligne Range Watchtower
$119.99
From the Distillery,
"The Watchtower is The Maligne Range’s interpretation of a peated Canadian whisky – bringing together Canadian and Scottish traditions without adhering too closely to either. Built Canadian malt with 30% heavily peated Scottish malt, it introduces smoke with intent – layered, controlled, and integrated into the structure of the whisky, with notes of soft smoke, and apple, citrus, and dark caramel carried through with clarity.
Process and maturation bring the elements into alignment. Blending is approached with restraint, allowing the peat to remain present without overwhelming the foundation. The result is a whisky where smoke adds depth and contrast, supported by grain and structure rather than dominating it.
Named after The Watchtower Mountain, a 2,791-metre peak in Jasper National Park, it reflects a sense of clarity and exposure-defined by structure, visibility, and more pronounced edge. Within the range, it marks a shift: where contrast becomes more defined and the profile begins to push further.

Thompson Bros. Glen Garioch 27 Year
$319.99
We are on always on the hunt for value, and a 27 year old Glen Garioch at 49.3% for just a tad over $300 fits the bill! This 1998 vintage Glen Garioch was supposedly matured in an oloroso sherry cask, but when the chaps at Thompson Bros. nosed it, they were pretty confident it was actually a Fino Sherry cask. Based on references in the tasting note, they might be right. Exclusive to KWM in Canada!
Producer Description
"We recently received a butt of Glen Garioch 1998, purchased blind based on the outstanding quality of previous casks from this vintage and with confidence, as the purchase order specified a 1st fill sherry butt. However, upon arrival and during our routine sensory analysis (someone's gotta do it), it became immediately apparent from visual assessment that this was not typical of 1st fill oloroso or px sherry, as we had initially expected. Instead, the spirit presented pronounced saline notes, followed by chamomile and fresh bread dough - characteristics that strongly suggest this cask is, in fact, a 1st fill fino sherry butt. We are now highly confident in that conclusion. the combination of distillate, time and oak interplay beautifully here. The nature of buying blind can be a bit risky, but very often those risks pay off in very interesting ways."

With the Revolution of 1974, this estate was expropriated, only returning to the hands of the Reynolds family in 1986, already in an advanced state of abandonment. Extensive restoration and regeneration was carried out by Bouncers’ daughter and son-in-law – Babette and Iain Richardson – and by his grandson, Iain Reynolds Richardson, the 6th generation of the Reynolds family in the Alentejo. Today, all the products that Thomas Reynolds initially traded, continue to be produced at Mouchão and the estate is flourishing.
Pabiot Pouilly Fume Sauvignon Blanc
$44.99
Young Jonathan-Didier Pabiot successfully persuaded his father Didier to convert the family vineyards to organic viticulture. Today, Pabiot is one of three certified-organic domaines and the first Demeter certified (biodynamic) domaine in the appellation. The family’s 20 hectares of vibrant, lush and healthy vineyards span three primary soils – Kimmeridgian marl, chalky Portlandian, and clay-silex on flint – which serve as the bedrocks of our three primary bottlings: Elisa (formerly Prélude), Léon (formerly Florilège), and Prédilection, an impressive old vine cuvée grown on terre blanche terraces overlooking the Loire River. Slow, cool indigenous yeast fermentations, minimal SO2 doses, and ageing on the lees for 5-12 months result in expressive, transparent Puilly-Fumés that are turning heads in the Loire and beyond
Neisson Rhum Eleve Sous Bois
$94.99
From the Distillery
"The toasting profiles are for rums aged in oak barrels for 12 to 24 months. Working with the cooperage World Cooperage, we aged our rums in casks ranging from 225 to 500 liters, which undergo the toasting process (a technique of heating the cask to reveal the aromas of the wood by manipulating the heating time and temperature). Rum aged in this type of cask develops subtle aromas ranging from fruit and spice to even toasty notes."
