"The toasting profiles are for rums aged in oak barrels for 12 to 24 months. Working with the cooperage World Cooperage, we aged our rums in casks ranging from 225 to 500 liters, which undergo the toasting process (a technique of heating the cask to reveal the aromas of the wood by manipulating the heating time and temperature). Rum aged in this type of cask develops subtle aromas ranging from fruit and spice to even toasty notes."
