Tullibardine 20 Year
$232.99
The 20 year has been matured exclusively in First fill Ex-Bourbon barrels. Tullibardine is produced with unpeated single malt and is a very gentle Highland malt. Bottled at 43%.
Distiller's Tasting Note: "This is a wonderful, charming, single malt that delivers vanilla, cocoa, honey, and oatmeal in equal measure, while finishing smooth and dry on the palate. There is a complexity from its age, but there is still that hint of subtle sweetness that Tullibardine has in its malts."
Lagavulin 16 Year
$164.99
Lagavulin might well be the most iconic of Islay malts. And the distillery, which celebrated its bicentennial in 2016, is unquestionably one of the most beloved of all Scotch malt producers. Up until the launch of the much-lauded 8 year old in 2016, the 16 year old was the distillery’s entry level expression. In spite of the new arrival, however, the 16 remains the flagship expression in the range, and for good reason. A cornerstone in any whisky collection. 90pts Serge @WhiskyFun

Producer Description
"To create it, we gather the silky, fruity spirit from our giraffe-high stills and let it steep in American oak casks. No less than 15 years later, we transfer a portion into Oloroso sherry casks for three more years. Once 18 years have passed, we reunite them to create its warm balance of sweet, floral lushness. Rich marmalade flavours brush against honey and fig, touches of caramelized orange and far-off campfire smoke. Have a taste, and let your imagination wander to the edge of an autumn afternoon."
