The result is a rich and sherry-forward expression, where the famous fruitiness of the Glencadam spirit is balanced with sultana and sweet-spice notes, that come from the Oloroso Sherry cask maturation."

Established in 1825 Glencadam distillery has been slowly swallowed over the succeeding 200 years by the town of Brechin. Most of the distillery's production is destined for blends, but its core range, predominantly matured in American oak, is very good. This malt punches well above its weight!
