Winemaking is spread between the Catena family winery in the Uco Valley and Alejandro Vigil's own barrel room in his garden of Chachingo. He works alongside Adrianna Catena to create this legendary wine. El Gran Enemigo SV Gualtallary shows a deep purple color with red highlights. Its aromas are intense and elegant. Cabernet Franc brings sweet spices, black pepper and light notes of eucalyptus and thyme. Malbec brings notes of ripe black fruits, blackberries and black cherries. The oak aging gives a touch of chocolate and vanilla to blend.
The taste is complex, with a sweet impact and structured tannins, and a very long and persistent finish. This wine was made in honour of the old Pomerol style, where Cabernet Franc was blended with the other Bordeaux varieties.

The inspiration for Petit Rouge was to make a wine that adheres to the same exacting standards and level of care as the rest of the wines at Le Vieux Pin, yet at the same time is more accessible upon release. Made from the fruit of younger vines and vines pruned and cropped at less stringent levels, Petit Rouge offers a big bang for your buck.
In 2024, many vineyards and wineries in the Okanagan were severely affected by a devastatingly heavy frost. This left many vines either dormant for the year, producing no fruit - or worse - killed off entirely and needing to be replaced. You will find some 2024 vintage wines from the 2024 vintage used fruit imported from the USA's Pacific Northwest (Washington and Oregon), which allowed suffering Okanagan wineries to have at least something to release as their vines recovered or were replaced.
The 2024 Petit Rouge from Le Vieux Pin is one such wine.
Uncommon Tropical Hopped Cider

Remember: Dry hopping is the process of adding hops near the end of the brewing process. This results in very little bitterness, but showcases the more aromatic qualities of hops. This cider has a nice, round fruity base, and has wonderful tropical fruit and melon notes along with hints of herbs and maybe even grass.

The 25-year-old Arran is now part of the Lochranza Distillery's core range, though a very limited part of it. Currently an annual release, only 3000 bottles are available world-wide. It was matured in a combination of ex-Sherry and Ex-Bourbon casks which were filled in the distillery's first few years of operation. 46% ABV. We have a mix of 2023 and 2024 botltings. Mostly the latter.
