Documents in the archives of the nearby ancient abbey of Badia a Passignano testify to the claim that wine and olive oil were produced on this estate as early as the 12th century. Giovanni and Kathrin Davaz are the proprietors of Poggio al Sole, tending approximately 18 hectares of vineyards. The vines face south-east to south-west and are between 320 and 480 metres above sea level. Yields are kept low to improve quality, and the vineyards are certified organic.

An ode to both past and present, Erlton St. was home to the original Establishment (a basement laboratory) and is now an annual benchmark for our evolution in barrel-aging beer. An orange & apricot aroma moves into fermented tea, black pepper and ripened fruit when sipped. There’s a firm bitterness that finishes sweet & smooth with a hint of rocket candy, minerality, and aged hop character on the end. This beer spent over 18 months in barrels, then was matured in bottles for over 9 months, resulting in a complex yet approachable wild beer, and a snapshot of EST in 2024.

Liquidity was established in 2008 when Ian MacDonald, a businessman and art collector, teamed up with some Calgary energy industry executives to buy an ailing Okanagan Falls vineyard left over from a failed winery project. It was a success, and a few years ago it was sold to the Iconic Wineries group, owned by Anthony von Mandl (of Mission Hill and White Claw fame). Grown specially for rosé, the pinot noir for this wine comes from their home vineyards in Okanagan Falls and Oliver. Each block was picked at the perfect ripeness for rosé, capturing unique flavour profiles specific to those sites. It's classic rosé, with citrus and crushed strawberry flavours.
