"At 7,200 ft. above sea level surrounded by the spectacular view of the mountains in La Sierra del Tigre in the south of Jalisco, La Estacada is one of the highest distilleries in the world and home of Tierra Noble. Here the freshness of the forest, the purest air and water straight from the spring become the underlying elements of Tierra Noble’s greatness, whilst the low altitude temperatures contribute to the slow, rich and aromatic fermentation of the agave.

Rooted in history, Tierra Noble embodies the sophistication, elegance and French influence of early 20th century Mexico and is driven by Mexican founders passionate about their country and the sacred agave spirit.

Our Founder’s Selection is born from the annual tradition of our Maestros Tequileros who select, among hundreds of casks, only those that have developed the most subtle and elegant notes to celebrate the end of each season. With time, the exquisite mix of these extra-añejos of up to 85 months of aging, would become our Founder’s Selection as we know it today.

Ancient White oaks have given way to a new story of aging in our tequila. Tierra Noble’s barrels are made of 75 year old American white oak and 150 year old French white oak that print smoothness and aromas to our tequila that sits in tranquillity, breathing and enhancing through every oak stave, while it gently ages thanks to the cold temperatures in the barrel cellars and the unstoppable pass of time."
