Old Forester 86 Proof is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon made at Old Forester Distillery in Lousiville. The Old Forester Distillery is owned by Brown-Foreman, who also owns the Woodford Distillery which is responsible for Woodford Reserve and is located in Versailles, Kentucky.
Old Forester's Bourbon mash bill is purportedly the same as that for its Woodford Reserve cousin, which is 72% Corn, 18% rye, and 10% Malted Barley.

The name of this Primitivo Salento IGP, 7° Ceppo refers to the seventh generation of winemakers of the Taurino family. The grapes for this Primitivo wine come from 70+ year old vines in the Mandura Region. Primitivo itself originated in Croatia and migrated to Italy in the late 1800s. Within Italy, it is grown primarily in Puglia.
Primitivo is possibly more well known under another name - Zinfandel - and was made popular under that moniker in California. It was not known that Primitivo and Zinfandel were the same grape until DNA profiling was done by the UC Davis in 1994.

Cantina Cosimo Taurino was founded in 1970 by the legendary Apulian producer, Cosimo Taurino. He was a pioneer of Negroamaro, and of the Apulian wine industry, changing it's reputation of the 'not so great southern region that only produces bulk grapes for the north' to a region known for it's high-quality red and rosé wines. Close proximity to the Bay of Fundy and the world’s highest tides creates an incredibly unique growing environment with tremendous potential for the production of distinctive cool-climate wines. They have 40 acres of vines planted on two distinct sites along the shores of the Minas Basin, an inlet of the Bay of Fundy, where hilly slopes extend the frost free period and provide excellent exposure. Natural airflow and incessant saltwater breezes off the basin provide an important moderating effect, especially critical during the winter months when temperatures dip below freezing. Throughout the growing season, these same cool breezes slow ripening, extending the hang times of our fruit. This microclimate creates balanced, full-flavored grapes that tend to have relatively low sugar content yet full phenolic maturity and beautifully retained natural acidities.

Now available in the perfect little bottle! A grower-producer in the heart of Chigny-les-Rose, Giles Dumangin has champagne coursing through his veins. Dating back to the 1650's, the Dumangin's have always worked with the vines of Champagne, but it wasn't until 1890 when Hippolyte Dumangin created Champagne Dumangin in the 1er Cru vineyards of Chigny-les-Roses. Five generations later, Champagne Dumangin is producing an array of wines, from their classic feminine style to their newer, high-end cuvees. This Cuvee 17 is (almost) an equal blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, and is one of their newest additions to their line. Cuvee 17 is a natural style champagne, but this is serious wine! With 33% of the bottle consisting of reserve wine, it creates a fierce complexity and opulent notes of elderflower, banana, lemon cream and hints of brioche. Perfect as an aperitif, with appetizers or with fresh seafood.
