High West High Country Single Malt

It is made at High West's Distillery in Park City, Utah and has a Mash Bill of 85 base malt, 14% Caramel 60 Malt, and 1% Chocolate Malt. Bottled at 44%.

Quinta Nova Douro Touriga

$37.59

With a history spanning over 200 years, Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo occupies over 120 ha of land and has been listed since the first demarcation of the Douro wine region in 1756, during the Pombaline era. The original wine cellar that dates back to 1764, and the 19th-century manor house with a chapel (1795) are harmoniously integrated into one of the estate's hills. Owned by the Portuguese Royal Family until 1725, it became a “new estate” when two estates were merged. Several Portuguese families lived in the estate in the 18th and 19th centuries, during an important period in the agriculture of the Douro, and gave life to the vineyards and wine, fruit orchards, water mills built along the stream that runs through the estate and the old olive grove.

Millstone 10yr American Oak 43%

$89.99

A 10 year old unpeated Dutch Single Malt Whisky from the awarding wining Millstone, distilled by Zuidam Distillery. Despite being labelled a 10 year old, the whisky is actually 14 years old, distilled in 2000 and bottles in 2014. These whiskies are expected to cause quite a buzz.

While not historically known for their whisky, the Dutch have been distilling as long as anyone in Europe. Most famous for genever and brandy, some of the distilleries there have taken to producing whisky. The Zuidam family began producing genever and other liquors in 1976 in the town of Baarle-Nassau on the Belgian border. Patrick van Zuidam, the second generation, began experimenting with whisky distillation in 1996, and started laying down barrels. The distillery produces both malt and grain whiskies, including a powerful rye. While they have borrowed and been influenced by the whisky makers in other countries, they are making a distinctly Dutch whisky. In one curious aspect, they mill their own barley in traditional windmills.

From the Distillery: “The whisky is aged in new American oak. These barrels add a rich vanilla and honey sweetness to the whisky with delicate notes of coconut and spices like cinnamon and cloves. In 2014 won Millstone American oak a silver medal in the Wizards of whisky competition in London.”

Fire Bloom Honey Lager 4-pk

$12.22

From Best of Kin
"

WE DIDN'T WANT TO
BREW THIS LAGER

...And the fact that we can means the climate is in a seriously tough spot. Last year, more than 6,000 fires raged across Canada, burning 4% of our forests—causing an unprecedented amount of Fireweed to bloom from their ashes, and generating enough Fireweed honey to brew this beer. So we rolled up our sleeves and got to work.

With this beer, you’re giving back to our decimated land. Because when it comes to protecting our forests, we can. And we are."
