Hermit Usui Tsuki Matcha Vanilla Pale
$5.99
A pale moon drifts above the winter fields, its light cool and unbroken. Usui Tsuki is brewed with Canadian barley, ceremonial matcha, vanilla, and a touch of milk sugar - a soft sweetness folded into the calm green of tea. The result is a beer as quiet as snowfall, where earth and cream meet in serene balance. Smooth and pale as moonlight, it lingers with a calm stillness - fleeting, delicate, and quietly alive. A tribute to winter's solitude, and to the faint glow that endures when all else falls silent.

3. Do they contain alcohol?
While the bitters contain 42% alcohol by volume (ABV), each serving holds an insignificant amount of alcohol relative to its size, classifying them as non-alcoholic products. The 42% ABV is full of denaturants that come from the botanicals, which make them bitter tasting and unpalatable for consumption as a conventional aperitif or alcoholic drink.
4. Are they vegan and/or gluten free?
Yes! There are no gluten or animal products used in any part of the extraction process, therefore our products are both vegan and gluten free. Additionally, many of the ingredients that Token uses in extractions are known for their therapeutic benefits in traditional cultures.
5. Are the bitters organic?
Token Bitters do not contain any artificial flavors or ingredients – we make it our mission to source only organic ingredients whenever possible. Soon we will be certified to put the term "organic" on our product labels.
Additionally, we source organic ingredients both locally and from fair trade sources around the globe. Our hops, for example, are cultivated by the BC based Harvesters of Organic Hops, and our favourite place to stock up on essentials is Edmonton’s Old Strathcona Farmers Market!"
Pivot Spirits Farmer Whisky
$105.99
Made with unmalted barley grown in Lars' fields! Lars is the operator of pivot spirits. This whisky finished in casks that previously held Haskap Fruit Wine. Bottled at 46%.
Producer Description
"A homegrown Alberta barley whisky that narrates the story of Southern Alberta agriculture, finished in a Haskap wine barrel from Little Gem Winery in Nobleford, Alberta. This whisky boasts a silky texture and a complex, savory flavor profile. It's truly remarkable what two farmers who ventured into the spirits world can accomplish!"
About Pivot Spirits
Pivot Spirits was founded in 2018 and resides in Rolling Hills, Alberta — about a 30-minute drive south of Brooks. If you zoom in on Rolling Hills from a satellite image on Google Maps you will see where the name Pivot Spirits comes from: all the fields in the area have the tell-tail rounded and circular shape of pivot irrigation. The distillery is co-owned by Lars Hirsch and Rachelle Fiset. Lars is an irrigation farmer with fields just across the roads from the distillery and the distiller as well. Just about all the grain used at Pivot Spirits uses for making Whisky, Gin, and other spirits comes from his fields. The only exception to this is when Lars uses corn, which he gets from his neighbours. Pivot Spirits does not malt or roast any of the grains it uses — it comes directly from the field, is ground down, and made into a mash.
