Bideona produces terroir-driven, site-specific wines from historic, low-yielding vineyards in Rioja Alavesa. Made from high-quality viura fruit from hilltop vineyards (cabezadas) on limestone soils, with a small amount aged in used oak for texture.Fresh and subtle nose, pure aromas of stone fruit with a touch of white flowers and struck match. Light and crisp on the palate with a refreshingly dry, slightly mineral finish. They created Bideona to contribute decisively to a new generation of Rioja wines – more expressive of origin than method of production.
