About the Label (Larger Label Under Tasting Note)
"Springbank do everything manually, from floor malting to filling the casks, there’s a lot more manual labour involved at this distillery than anywhere else in Scotland. We’ve taken this manual labour to the next level and Springbank label features drinks writers Neil Ridley and Joel Harrison operating Springbank's old Porteus Mill."

About the Label (Larger Label Under Tasting Note)
"On the label, we see a Laddie who’s made it to the most prestigious seat someone could sit in during the 1970s - behind the conveyor belt of The Generation Game. The Laddie has the chance to win all manner of wonderful prizes, and they all seem to follow the theme of Bruichladdich releases. Listing Bruichladdich’s releases is a gargantuan task. We’ve probably missed a few too! How many can you find?"

One of the few labels we’ve changed from the original release. The original label featured the colourful Tobermory harbour scene, much like the BBC Children's series ‘Balamory’Our label now features more references to Alan Partridge than you can shake a stick at.Why? Because Tobermory is unpeated - there’s no peat/Pete allowed. You can also see our Ledaig label character heading to Islay.
Boutique-y Highland Malt 1 Batch 1 42 Yr
$724.99
This little gem is a bit cheeky, one look at the label should tell you everything you need to know about the distillery it was made at... Spoiler Alert: it's Clynelish, and the oldest bottling of Clynelish we are aware of, bottled after 42 years at 43.5%.
Producer Description: "A 42 Year Old Single Malt from an undisclosed Highland distillery. A batch of 473 bottles at 43.5% abv. There are a few more distilleries in the Highlands than Islay, but not quite as many as Speyside. It’s still going to be hard to figure out where this could have been distilled. Can you tell which one it is? At 42 Years Old, this suggests that distillation would have occured in 1977/78!"
About the Label (Larger Label Under Tasting Note)
"The label for our Highland #1 bottling features Phoebe, Boutique-y Whisky's product manager. She shares her love of Spaniels and the countryside, but of course she won't reveal the secret of exactly which Highland distillery this bottle is from!"
