Vidbertus is located in the Spanish region of Conca de Barbera, at the south-eastern, inland region of Camp de Tarragona, the central Catalan depression behind the pre-coastal mountain range of Tarragona. The altitude of the property is 500 metres above sea level. The harvest is done manually and gently to preserve the characteristics of the organically-grown grapes. Trepat is indigenous to the region and is aged in French oak, showing lots of black fruits and some spice. It's ideal with roast and braised meats, duck and other game. The label is made of velvet, presumably to let you know what to expect from this delicious wine.

"We don’t do things like other gin makers. Since 2009, Caorunn Gin has been handcrafted in small batches at Balmenach Distillery in the Speyside region of the Scottish Highlands. How can a gin shine through in a region famous for its whisky? Well, it all starts with a name.
Caorunn {pronounced ‘ka-roon’} is inspired by the Gaelic word for ‘Rowan Berry’. What’s in a name, we hear you ask? The humble rowan berry is one of five unique Celtic botanicals that are at the heart of our gin. We use Scotland’s natural pantry to hand-forage the rowan berry along with our four other Celtic botanicals; all of which can be found within a ten-minute walk of the distillery. We then pair these with six traditional gin botanicals, to create our genius recipe. Clever, eh?

"This fresh pick comes in hot with tropical aromas, perfectly balanced acidity, and faint hop
bitterness. We blended three base beers and refermented the lot on apricots to arrive at this crushable harbinger of summer. It’s crazy concentrated with juicy flavour and pours an appropriate show stoppingly sunny shade of hazy orange.
Sort of surprisingly, we used less fruit by weight than usual. Because apricots are so dang potent, restraint was necessary if we wanted to max out the juice factor without taking things too tart—and that’s exactly what we wanted. So, learn of love, have some joy,
