Today, the vines are grown respecting a belief in sustainable production, along with organic and biodynamic agricultural methods. In the Vineyard, the growth of natural grasses is encouraged in order to get the deepest root growth from the vines and also to deal with extreme weather conditions. In the early 1960s, Vasilios G. Lafazanis fulfilled his dream and gained flesh and bones with the establishment of the first family winery in Magoula, Attica, an area of particular geographic importance for the exploitation of Attic, Boeotian and Peloponnesian vineyards. Today they own ten hectares of their own vineyards in the Peloponnese region. Agiorgitiko, Moschofilero, Assyrtiko and Malagouzia are grown and tended here. At an altitude of 240 m – 500 m, the lands have a diversity of microclimate and exposure to sunlight to make sure the vines grow to their potential and with the right nutrients. The winery has a sloping terrain with excellent drainage. Terravista is situated in the Sub GI Area known as the Naramata Bench with over 50 wineries in the area as their neighbours.
Their Estate Vineyard, Lone Hand Ranch, is the home to the wine they call "FANDANGO". Spanish varietals, Albariño and Verdejo, typically grown in northwestern Spain and Portugal, were planted here in 2008. The southwestern slope of till sediments and stony soils of this vineyard above Naramata Road are optimal conditions for these aromatic whites with crisp acidity.
