Foreau Vouvray Sec
$79.99
The crystalline bouquet reveals an ultra-mineral nose that streamlines into flint. Once it starts to wake up, citrus fruits express themselves with very fresh vegetal notes. On the palate, a beautiful explosion that extends on a chalky and very vertical body. A bottle to be tasted in 1 year, 20 years or 30 years. The tasting of this sec befits the Japanese cuisine: salmon, scallops, tuna etc.
Tantalus Pinot Noir
$63.99
Just gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. "A rich garnet in colour, the nose is bursting of lingonberry, Bing cherry and sweet anise alongside floral notes of crushed rose petal and violet. Ripe raspberry and dark plum emerge on the palate with an intriguing graphite minerality on the finish. All sourced from our single vineyard estate, select Pinot Noir blocks were handpicked and vinified in small lots using entirely wild fermentation. The small batches were then placed into a selection of new and seasoned French oak barriques for 12 months and blended, unfined and unfiltered, just prior to bottling. Although enjoyed in its youth we see this wine aging gracefully over the next 7 to 10 years," according to the winery. And we agree!
John Thomas Pinot Noir
$224.99
"One of the most collectible Pinot Noirs made in all of Oregon is from a winery you’ve probably never heard of: Thomas Winery. Located in Carlton, Oregon, winemaker John Thomas has been releasing small amounts of wine from the Thomas Vineyard since 1988."
"Except for those vintages where he declassifies some of the fruit, Thomas produces only one wine, his Dundee Hills Pinot Noir. Each year, he produces a very small amount, less than 400 cases from a very small plot of land of less than five acres. Thomas works essentially by himself, from planting and maintaining the vines to loading up his truck and delivering cases of wine to restaurants and wine stores in the Portland area."

Sancerre La Chaudouillonne Fournier
$47.99
This is an opulent, rich wine, still developing. It has concentration, intense acidity and a green, herbal background. As a contrast, it is full of apple and citrus fruits leavened with touches of apricot. It should be aged, and enjoyed from 2016. 91 points, Wine Enthusiast
Best`s White Gravels Shiraz
$44.99
Sourced from a single vineyard on the Concongella estate planted in 1992, the White Gravels Hill Shiraz produces delightfully spicy and aromatic wines. White quartz gravel lay over the granite bedrock and the site can be particularly hard to farm, especially in dry years due to its free-draining nature. Small parcels of fruit from this vineyard are carefully selected to use in the final blend. This wine was produced using traditional methods including hand picking, whole bunch open fermentation and basket pressing.
Little Engine Pinot Noir Silver
$56.99
When you hear the children's book The Little Engine That Could, you would never expect for it to pave the way for this small production winery. Naming themselves after this children's fable, this winery promotes only the truest expressions of their wines and terroir. Focusing mostly on Pinot Noir & Chardonnay, they aim to bring only elegance and freshness to their wines and only believe in using French oak. This Pinot Noir is a single vineyard production, expressing tart cranberries, red cherries and maybe even a touch of dried hibiscus. Showing beautifully now, but also will develop through until 2023.
Cosimo Taurino Salice Salentino Riserva
$32.99
A blend of Negroamaro (80%) and Malvasia Nera, picked from vines 15 to 20 years old. The wine spends between four and six months maturing in French oak prior to bottling. Close to ten years on since the grapes were picked, the wine is currently showing wonderful lavender, cherry and raspberry notes along with integrated acidity and minerality. Getting a decade-old wine that drinks this well at this price is impressive and as such it remains one of the great bargains in Italy's vast wine realm. It would pair nicely with lasagna or roast chicken.
About The Winery
Cantina Cosimo Taurino was founded in 1970 by the legendary Apulian producer, Cosimo Taurino. He was a pioneer of Negroamaro, and of the Apulian wine industry, changing its reputation of the 'not so great southern region that only produces bulk grapes for the north' to a region known for its high-quality red and rosé wines. Ever since the winery first opened, they have continued to grow and produce some of the best wines Puglia has to offer.
Tremblay Chablis Vielles Vignes
$42.99
"Characteristic aromas of white flowers, pink, acacia honey, round and rich on the palate, intense nose and mouth, very smooth and excellent development. With hints of green and yellow, this wine is generous. Round, large, persistent, its flavors develop quite quickly. This wine should be drunk young, but you can also keep it five years."
