The Morning Glory Bourbon has a quirky mash bill, consisting of Corn, Rye, Kasha (toasted buckwheat), Buckwheat, and Malt. It has been matured in a #2 char new oak barrel.
While this whiskey was made in Indiana, Spirits Of French Lick isn't just another bottler of MGP products: they are a bona fide distillery that sources locally grown grains and distills and matures the whiskey themselves. That is almost a quaint notion in this day and age, isn't it?
