Whisky Trail Knights Dailuaine 13 Year
$129.99
Exclusive to KWM in Canada!
We ourselves some Dailuaine here at KWM. It's waxy and fruity profile seems to be showcased incredibly well in ex-Bourbon casks, which is why we jumped at the chance to have this as an exclusive. Distilled in 2009, this single cask spent 13 years maturing in a Hogshead (#315772) before being bottled at 52.9%. We only managed to get a fraction of the outturn, which was a miniscule 100 bottles!
About The Whisky Trail
"The Whisky Trail is a collection of young and old casks, taking drinkers off the beaten path of whisky. Only whiskies that demonstrate the most exceptional characteristics are hand-selected to be bottled as part of the Whisky Trail range, and with each cask as unique as a fingerprint, no two expressions will ever be the same. To ensure each whisky maintains its full flavour and cask character, we never chill-filter or add colour."

$999.99
This 1994 vintage Caperdonich was bottled after 30 years in a First Fill Sherry Hogshead at 51.2%. Caperdonich is a closed distillery, once called Glen Grant No.2, hence the name: Gone Grant. 89.21pts Whiskybase / 90pts Whisky Fun
Producer Description
"Whiskyland Chapter 18 takes place in one of Whiskyland's many hybrid library bars. In fact, no one is particularly sure whether they are bars with large reading selections, or libraries that serve drinks. It doesn't do to ponder these unanswerable questions too deeply. Best to just pour a generous measure of this rather sublime 1994 'Gone Grant' single malt that underwent a 4 year secondary maturation in a fresh sherry hogshead, select something intellectually nourishing to read, and occasionally glance out of the window at the Whiskyland night sky."

A sip takes you to a late summer BBQ by a misty Scottish loch, where the scent of smoked ham hangs in the cool air and laughter echoes off the hills. Flavours of burnt sticky marshmallows and roasted almonds fill the air, creating a sweet and savoury contrast that lingers.
