Another great creation from Tommaso Bussola. This wine is composed of 40% Corvinone (ancient Corvina clone), 40% Rondinella, 15% Molinara and small quantities of other indigenous varietals and is aged for 17 months in oak. Pairings include a meaty lasagna or parmigiano as suggestions.
This is a "ripasso" style Valpolicella that uses the "lees" of Bussola's Recioto instead of the traditional Amarone "lees". This technique gives a richly seductive wine, with terrific concentration and voluptuous texture!
