Montalto Tuerong Pinot Noir
$84.99
A highly aromatic wine displaying immense complexity. Blackberry and kirsch notes combine with graphite, cherry, and earthy undertones. There’s a whole-bunch floral and fragrant perfume hovering together with some subtle dried herbs, black olive and root vegetables. The palate is structured but shows restraint and elegance as the saturating fruits dissolve into the savoury finish.
Piron Beaujolais Blanc
$31.99
Dominique Piron’s family has been growing grapes here since the 16th century, and Dominique took over the estate in 1971. Piron farms 45 hectares of vineyards scattered among several different crus in Beaujolais, namely Morgon, Chénas, Brouilly, Régnié and Moulin-à-Vent. He owns some parcels, rents others, and also buys 20 hectares worth of carefully selected grapes from their neighbours. Regardless of where the grapes are sourced, Piron is responsible for every aspect of quality control from the vineyard management to the marketing of the finished wine. They take such great care of each of their crus that even the simple Beaujolais and Beaujolais-Villages wines are carefully selected from single-vineyard parcels. Each of their terroirs is unique, yet they are all granite-based soils—the ideal grounding for the Gamay grape. Piron farms sustainably, although he has also been experimenting with organic methods to achieve a rich biodiversity in the vineyards.

Suntory’s master blender, Shinji Fukuyo, partnered with Jim Beam’s Master Distiller Fred Noe to create Legent, which underwent several years of development before the final product was released. Fred Noe’s part in everything was the distillation itself - as Master Distiller at Jim Beam. Shinji Fukuyo was in charge of the blending.
Passopisciaro Passorosso
$70.99
Formerly Passopisciaro, Passorosso is made from the grapes of Nerello Mascalese, blending across different altitudes and soil types. This wine is a holistic expression of the breadth of flavors that Etna can produce with a character that distills this unique growing environment in a glass, reflecting the variations of each vintage. The wines age in large, neutral oak barrels and are unfiltered, presenting an interpretation of nerello mascalese that is bright, pure, red-fruited, mineral, and herbaceous, and with age, it begins to lose its color and gain exotic aromas of camphor, sandalwood, and spice. The first vintage was in 2001. Starting with this vintage, Passorosso has been designated Etna Rosso DOC.
Andrea Franchetti arrived on Mt. Etna in 2000 as one of the first of the modern wave of producers arriving on the volcano. There he found seventy to one hundred year-old, bush-trained vines across the northern side of the volcano across a variety of optimal sites between 550 and 1,000 meters (1,800 to 3,300 feet) above sea level. The grapes are taken from various contrade (crus) of Malpasso, Guardiola, Santo Spirito, Favazza and Arcuria; generally, the higher crus are on a more gravelly soil, the lower ones in a deeper powder made with more oxidized, older lavas.

From The Producer
"The berries are crushed and extracted with pure grain spirit. This process takes more than a month before all the delicate flavours are dissolved in the alcohol. After this extraction period the pulp that is left of the raspberries is separated from the extract. The pulp is gently pressed in a traditional wooden press. The final result of all this manual labour is a deep red extract that contains all the flavours and aroma’s from the fruit. Now we only add pure sugar and that is all that is needed to produce this wonderful fresh Framboise Liqueur with its refined and delicate raspberry flavour.
This liqueur can be enjoyed neat or over ice. Also worth trying is using it in cocktails and long drinks (with some bitter lemon) or simply with some decent white or sparkling wine. Another suggestion is to try it over simple vanilla ice cream to turn it into a special desert.
Our liqueurs contain no added fragrances, colors and flavors."
