Planted on the Eastern facing slope below the winery, our Grenache enjoys a sunny aspect, often tempered by a cooling afternoon breeze. Fermented in the original open top fermenters and basket pressed, the Grenache spends a short time in seasoned French oak puncheons.
The result is an elegant, juicy Grenache in a bright and expressive style. Gentle tannins and a fleshy palate give a soft and generous mouth feel. This old timer of the Vale is enjoying it's time back in the spot light.

The distillery was founded by a group of friends that were pondering the meaning of life and bemoaning the lack of Finnish Rye Whisky one day in - you guessed it - a sauna. They decided to do something about it, and Kyro was born.
