Good Day Hibiscus Soju
$10.49
Soju production begins with the fermentation of grain starch by yeasts and enzymes. Once the fermentation is complete, the liquid is distilled to produce clear alcohol. Finally, soju is bottled and typically has around 20% alcohol by volume. Good Day is the flagship Soju of Muhak, a Korean distillery established in 1929. Good Day Soju is filtered 10 times and actively infused with oxygen for 72 hours. This unique manufacturing process creates a very smooth and clean-tasting spirit. In the early 1980s, Jeffrey embarked on his winemaking journey in Clare Valley, South Australia, but not in the conventional way. While others followed established paths, Jeffrey chose experimentation and innovation, guided by that foundational principle: it starts with place. His unconventional approach meant questioning everything, from vineyard practices to the smallest details of winemaking. Today these wines are regarded as some of the finest examples of the riesling grape on the planet.
Moss Wood Amy's Cuvee Blanc
$42.99
Margaret River is one of the world's best producers of Semillon and the blend with Sauvignon Blanc is magical. The nose displays aromas of leafy, grassy Sauvignon Blanc, mixed with more generous notes of fig and honey from the Semillon. Underneath all this primary grape aroma is a distinct apricot note, which the winery puts down to just a touch of noble rot in the fruit, as well as some complexity from Semillon’s lanolin character. The palate is medium bodied and the fresh fruit emphasis is highlighted by crisp acidity and a soft finish. If you adore well-made white wine, this is for you!
Moss wood is a family-owned wine company and one of the pioneers for the Margaret River region. Their original plantings date back to 1969 with their first wines being made in 1973. Since then, Margaret River has definitely made a name for itself as a well-recognized region in Australia with the wine's popularity consistently increasing.
