A sparkling sake with a pink/red hue? You bet! The colour of this sake comes from an ancient rice that is purple/black called Asamursaki. The sake undergoes a secondary fermentation in the bottle, making it sparkling in style. It is made by the Ninki Brewing Company, which was established in 1897 and resides in Nihonmatsu City within the Fukushima Prefecture.
