Bright, saturated ruby. Brooding aromas of bitter cherry, violet and licorice, lifted by a resiny nuance. Then densely packed, concentrated and fresh, with rich, fleshy flavors of kirsch and dark chocolate. Finishes with big, broad, thoroughly ripe tannins and very good lingering black cherry fruit. This is surprisingly easy to taste today but should age well on its ripe tannins and sheer balance.

Bushveld Whisky offers an aromatic escape to the South African bushveld. The sweet, honeyed aromas are wrapped up in light smokiness from Kameeldoring-smoked casks. We use only the best of single estate grain whisky.
We do double distillation on a potstill for added smoothness before being matured in American oak, ex-bourbon casks. After three years, we finish it off in Kameeldoring-smoked barrels to achieve a signature bushveld edge.
