One other note, the price... due to inflation, logistics and whiskyflation (I'm taking credit for that word...) you won't likely be seeing to many 15 year old KWM casks at this price moving forward. Things are getting crazy!
Two Brewers Yukon Single Malt Release 32
$107.99
Two Brewers Yukon Single Malt Release 32 is part from their Innovative line, composed of whiskies 7, 9 and 10 years of age, some of them made from roasted malt. There was also some finishing in ex-peated whisky casks!
Blending Notes
"The heart of this release is the last two remaining barrels of a roasted malt mash with great toasted and nutty character. We added a touch of another specialty malt mash (munich and roasted) and filled it out with some mature priming mash. The roasted malt character is central, something I hope a maltster would be proud of!"
Barrelling Info
"Although the oak character is married well with the toasted malts, there is little barrel juggling of note in this blend. Some early new barrel content to prime the spirit, then gentle aging did the rest. A couple exPeated barrels were in the mix of gentle ageing, which may have left very subtle influence, for those who are looking."

Balvenie Doublewood 12 Year 43%
$101.99
Bottled at 40% the Balvenie Double Wood is matured in ex-Bourbon casks before finishing in Oloroso sherry casks for 9 months. The whisky is then married in tuns for 3-4 months before bottling.
Producer Description
"DoubleWood 12 was launched in 1993, using a process designed by our Malt Master David Stewart in 1982, now commonly known as 'wood finishing'. To make The Balvenie DoubleWood, David Stewart MBE takes whisky that has spent at least 12 years in traditional whisky casks, American Oak ex-bourbon barrels and hogsheads, and moves it to Spanish oak ex-Oloroso sherry casks for an additional nine months. The whisky is then transferred to large oak vessels called “tuns” for 3-4 months to allow the whiskies from individual casks to “marry”.'
