Carn Mor Strictly Ltd Aultmore 11 Yr
$119.99
Aultmore is a distillery that's sort of unoffially recognized as one of the least interesting in Scotland. In fact, one cheeky wee bottler we know and love did up a special label for their bottlings of Aultmore that incorporates sharks, velociraptors, and flaming deep sea oil rigs just to add a bit of panache to an otherwise rather unremarkable reputation. But we all know not to judge a book by its cover, right? And though the distillery's profile may not be all sparkle and pizazz, that doesn't mean the spirit itself can't shine. Check out this Sherry-finished 2010 for a good example of what to look out for in some of the more interesting Aultmore out there.
Oloroso Sherry Finish. 598 bottles suggests a couple Bourbon Barrels or Hogsheads, re-racked into a single Sherry Butt. 47.5 %, natural colour, and non chill-filtered.
Carn Mor Strictly Ltd Glencadam 10Yr
$114.99
A rather wee distillery, all things considered, but one with a nearly two-century-long history, and some really neat expressions out there for those willing to hunt. The distillery bottlings are great, but the indies are a ton of fun too. This Carn Mor Glencadam was matured in ex-Bourbon, allowing the spirit to sing a bit louder than the cask. That's usually the way we like 'em.
538 bottles means probably either a couple of leaky Hogsheads or a couple of really tight Bourbon Barrels. Natural colour, non chill-filtered, and bottled at 47.5%

Glenmorangie 18 Year Azuma Makoto
$169.99
A beautiful limited edition collaboration between floral artist Azuma Makoto. Limit 1 per customer! 43%
Producer Description
"Captivated by the scents he found in our 18 Year Old’s bouquet, the floral artist likened our single malt to the wonder of a flower in bloom. He explains: “It begins with rich, rounded aromas of dried fruits and honey, then unfurls into a bouquet of geranium, tuberose and jasmine. They dance on the tongue with honeysuckle and sweet pea, figs and nuts until the blossoms fade into a sweet and lingering finish. As Azuma Makoto translated the whisky’s delicious bourbon cask softness and sweet, Oloroso sherry cask hints, he drew on the beauty of almost 100 different blooms from across the world. He coaxed each one into blossom at his Tokyo studio for his floral masterpiece Dancing Flowers of Glenmorangie, which we share in this wondrous limited edition."
