Only 12 bottles of this rare single cask, Coffey Malt Japanese whisky have come to Canada, all of them exclusive to KWM. 57% after maturing in a single cask, #103356, this is a malt whisky, but distilled in in a column (AKA coffey or continuous) still. Nikka's Coffey Malt is principally produced for blending, though they do offer it as a stand alone whisky. The two big Japanese distillers, Suntory and Nikka, both own two malt distilleries and a grain distillery. They need to be self sufficient in creating their blends, so both companies produce a variety of whiskies at each of their distilleries.
