Andrew's Tasting Note: "Nose: creamy and toasty, vanilla bean, some agave-like floral notes and barley sugars; Werther's Caramels, briny smoke, green grasses, lemon drops and heather honey; Palate: a surge of smoke, salt and earthy peat: as the palate adjusts heather honey, dark spices and peat oils emerge; barley sugars, green grasses and barbecued fish; Finish: long and chewy with dark peat and salt lingering the longest as the barley sugars and citrus fade."

This very limited release from Master of Malt is exclusive to KWM in Canada. Only 24 bottles were brought into the market, and just a few are left. The playful image on the lable is a jokular reference to Macallans curiously small stills. 245 bottles at 43.4%. 

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt 

Nose: Rich, malty nose with hints of toffee apples, brandy snaps and a hint of treacle. Rich notes of winter spice, pepper and cooked fruit. 

Palate: Pear juice, hints of sweet Normandy cider and allspice. Thick, biscuity malt, a little toasted barley and vanilla ice cream.

Finish: Dried apricot and creamy caramel. A touch of mixed peels and spice.

Overall: Full of malt and fruity flavour, typical of one of Speyside's best-loved distilleries.

This playfully labeled bottle of Bowmore has been bottled at 49.0% and is a limited release from Master of Malt, exclusive to KWM in Canada. Only 24 bottles came into the market. Bottled in a 500ml bottle, the label cheekily makes reference the warehouse Bowmore converted to a swimming pool, which is heated by the distillery's waste heat from its stills. 

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
"Nose: Peaty, powerful nose with red berry fruits and Corinth raisins. Beeswax, a little honey and salt caramel. Figs develop.

Palate: Thick, creamy palate with notes of wood smoke and sticking plasters. Citrusy, zesty flavours, with sultanas and Oloroso. Dried peels and spice.

Finish: Rich finish with bonfire toffee, apricots and candied peels. Potpourri.

Overall: Rich and punchy - Batch 2 is a superb example of what Bowmore can offer."
