Port Charlotte is a village 2mi south of Bruichladdich, and also the name they give to their heavily peated (not to be confused with their super-heavily peated Octomore) whisky. This is the new standard 10 year old.

This single cask bottling of Glenglassaugh was selected by and bottled for our store because it is an exceptional example of a nearly 40 year old whisky. A time capsule from a different era, it is a little piece of Glenglassaughs heritage. One of only 400 pre-closure (1986) casks left when the distillery was reopened in 2008. 39 years old and finished in a Sherry Cask before bottling at 42.6%.
