Wolfburn turns 10! We've been waiting a long time (ummm... ten years, maybe?) to see this distillery come of age. Wolfburn was a footnote in Scottish distilling history, lost 150 years ago, and little more than a pile of rubble with an immaculate water source when the decision was made to resurrect the name. Raising the old distillery from the dead was impossible, of course, but that didn't mean a new Wolfburn couldn't be commissioned onsite. Fast forward a decade and a bit, and we now have a thriving distillery in Caithness.
Seeing as this is the distillery's first 10-year-old, don't expect it to last long.
Producer Note: "A significant milestone for the Wolfburn distillery – this 10-year-old single malt is its first permanent age statement release. Lightly sweet agave with hints of more spice and earth along with hints of charred oak.
