The 2025 release is a marriage of 83% Spanish Oak Oloroso Sherry with 17% Pedro Ximenez. It is a 50/50 marriage of peated and unpeated malt and is bottled at 50% ABV.
Ardnamurchan utilizes blockchain technology to track and record how their whisky is made then bottled. There is a QR code on the back of each bottle of Ardnamurchan bottle that links to everything from tasting notes, to who did the mash that day, and even the fermentation time. According to the info provided, we can thank Nick Docherty for this batch - at least fermentation-wise. Scott Stewart was responsible for the spirit run/distillation.

Nose: Murray mint, bonfire on the beach, salted peanut icecream, tomato stalks, Brazil nut and sundried tomatoes.
Palate: Tarry rope, bung cloth, smoky bacon, old tractor shed, peanut brittle, sticky spare-ribs.
Finish: Crashing waves, sea-salt, bothy fireplace and cigar shop.
