This small batch release from Ardnamurchan Distillery was finished in casks that previously held Hungarian Tokaji dessert wine. Bottled at 52% ABV.

"This first ever AD/ Tokaji Cask Release was made with 100% unpeated spirit matured in a combination of 28 Bourbon barrels re-racked in Tokaji casks and two fully matured Bourbon barrels. Yielding 8736 bottles."

Nose: Fresh pear and green apples, bamboo, cornflakes, sandalwood, sour apple sweets, baked banana. Bright combination of floral & funky.
Palate: Sugared almonds, nashi pear, sweet & salty popcorn, white pepper & mace, lemon pith, candied ginger, rose petals and pine wood.
Finish: Saline, spicy, balanced.

This 10th Anniversary release of Ardnamurchan was made from unpeated malt matured in first fill ex-Bourbon casks with half the liquid finished for a year in Paul Lanois casks. Bottled at 10 years of age and 50%.

The first ever release of Ardnamurchan Madeira Cask release was produced from 43% Peated Spirit and 57% Unpeated Spirit initially matured in ex-Bourbon and finished in Madeira casks before bottling at 52.%.
