Distilled in Bardstown, Kentucky (likely by Bardstown Bourbon Company), The Bivouac from the revived Hirsch brand is a blended Bourbon comprised of two different mash bills. 5% of the liquid in this bottled is from 8 year old Bourbon with a = 72% Corn, 13% Rye, and 15% Malted Barley mash. The younger, remaining 95% is aged for under four years and has a mash bill of 74% Corn, 18% Rye, and 8% Malted Barley. Bottled at 50%.

The first few batches of Hirsch: The Horizon Bourbon are a blend of high-Rye five and six-year-old Bourbon originally distilled at the venerable MGP of Lawrenceberg, Indiana. The resulting batches are bottled at 46%.

THE HORIZON combines two straight bourbons distilled in Lawrenceberg, Indiana: 94% of the blend is distilled from a traditional mash bill and aged a minimum of 4 years. The remaining 6% is distilled from a “high rye” mash aged 6 years for added complexity. Bottled at 92 proof, THE HORIZON is crafted to be enjoyed neat or on the rocks."
