"This rather delectable 15 year old Clarendon has been bottled with a hefty chunk of reduction to 57.1%. It was originally way up around 68%, which is extremely silly so we decided to carefully improve (or shamelessly ruin, depending on your perspective) it with targeted reduction to our preferred bottling strength of 100 proof. The result is a big, funky, juicy, estery Jamaican rum. Close your face eyes and allow your mind's eye to swim with luscious, exotically fruity goodness..."

“Nose: highly estery but also slightly mentholated, pine resinous and medicinal, then going more typically towards coastal themes of olives, fermented banana and bandages. Palate: pickling juices, fermenting exotic fruit gunk, brown bread, treacle, pomegranate molasses and a wonderfully fat tarry side. Joyful Jamaican goodness! Finish: long, very focussed on brown breads, yeasty notes and medicinal qualities – lots of bandages and embrocation with some overripe pineapple.”

"A single refill barrel of Barbados rum, distilled in 2000 and matured for 22 years before bottling at natural cask strength of 47.6%. The label for this edition celebrates the blissful joy that is Teams and Zoom meetings, which we have all discovered and come to love during the pandemic. It is also a helpful guide to identifying this rum's distillery of origin, given that the label is made up of four squares. This is a sibling cask to Rum Sponge edition 14 and, like that one, is decidedly easy and approachable while still displaying richness of character and depth. The nose is highly exotic with tinned tropical fruits in syrup, while the palate shows firm oak spices, medicines and fresh bread notes. Luscious, easy and super pleasurable! Why not pour a significant measure into a coffee cup and gently melt away over the course of a two hour virtual strategy meeting. Responsibly, of course."
