"Smith & Cross Jamaica Rum contains only Wedderburn and Plummer pot still distillates, famous for their notes of exotic fruits and spice. The incomparable complexity of this rum delivers a tour de force of flavour that historically made it a cornerstone of classic rum drinks. We have chosen not to chill filter this spirit in order to retain its full flavour.
The mark of Smith & Cross traces its lineage to one of England’s oldest producers of sugar and spirits. Its history dates back to 1788 with a sugar refinery located at No. 203 Thames Street, by the London Docks. Over time, the firm and its partners became prominent handlers of Jamaica rum, with extensive underground cellars along the River Thames."

It might come as a surprise that this island nation in the Caribbean also produces fantastic rum! This bottling is also called Ester's Delight #2 and was produced by a pot still. "This rather delectable 15 year old Clarendon has been bottled with a hefty chunk of reduction to 57.1%. It was originally way up around 68%, which is extremely silly so we decided to carefully improve (or shamelessly ruin, depending on your perspective) it with targeted reduction to our preferred bottling strength of 100 proof. The result is a big, funky, juicy, estery Jamaican rum. Close your face eyes and allow your mind's eye to swim with luscious, exotically fruity goodness..."
